AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust are delighted to announce the AFC Bournemouth Girls Centre for 2016/17.

The Centre aims to offer girls aged 8-16 years old the opportunity to play for AFC Bournemouth in the Winchester and District League. The newly formed Cherries Girls sides will train twice a week, and play weekly matches, mirroring the systems used by the AFC Bournemouth Academy.

In addition to their matches within the Winchester and District Leagues, the girls will also play in a Premier League and Football League Elite League, where throughout school holidays the will face opposition from Swansea City, Portsmouth FC and Swindon Town, amongst others.

AFC Bournemouth have entered an Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, and Under 16 team in the league, which are added to the existing AFC Bournemouth Ladies and AFC Bournemouth Ladies Development Squad, who currently play in the Hampshire Leagues.

AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust continues the running of the AFC Bournemouth Ladies teams, and following the successes of the previous season, the Sports Trust is pleased to be offering competitive opportunities to both girls and women.

Following a busy trial period, which saw a little under 200 girls and women trial for a place in one of six squads, AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust are pleased to reveal the teams for 2016/17.
